SECURITY GUARD (FULL TIME)

About the role

Batavia Downs Gaming & Hotel is seeking two (2) full-time Security Guards to join our team. The positions are located at 8315 Park Road, Batavia, NY 14020.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure the premises to prevent unauthorized access and theft.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in maintaining public safety.
• Interact with guests and employees in a professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures.
• Perform routine patrols and inspections of the facility.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License.
• Previous security experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and stamina for patrol duties.
• Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.

Skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• First aid certification preferred.

$21.53 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday: 8am–1am
Friday through Sunday: 8am–3am
