About the role

As a Security Guard Full Time Access Verification in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, tenants, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking locations, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, hazards, and policy violations, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and coordination with airport operations and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
