About the role

Security Guard position for a residential property in the Bronx, NYC. This role involves ensuring safety, access control, and providing assistance to property owners, guests, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Enforce proper access control guidelines for property owners, guests, and vendors.
• Provide incident reports and other reports to building management and JC Protection.
• Secure the premises and offer security assistance as needed.
• Maintain assigned posts until properly relieved.
• Protect employees, visitors, and condominium owners.
• Provide directions to visitors upon request.
• Maintain strict access control at all entry points.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and high integrity in all duties.
• Deliver excellent customer service.

Requirements

• Valid NY State Security Guard License (Required).
• Prior military and/or public safety experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• 1+ years of customer service experience (Preferred).
• 1+ years of security experience (Preferred).
• Ability to travel to other boroughs via public transit or car.
• Open availability is a plus; position may require working full-time, part-time, or as a fill-in.

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts (Day, Evening, Night, or Overnight).
• Monday to Friday (with potential for weekends and holidays).
• Overtime and holdovers may be required in rare operational circumstances (e.g., staying past scheduled shift for an additional 8 hours).

Pay

$16.50 per hour.
