Security Guard Foot Patrol

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Riverside, CA. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, or telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report access-control concerns or suspicious activity according to site procedures
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour
• Position Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Day Time, Tuesday 12:30 PM – 08:30 PM, Thursday 12:30 PM – 08:30 PM, Friday 12:30 PM – 08:30 PM, Saturday 12:30 PM – 08:30 PM, Sunday 12:30 PM – 08:30 PM
