Security Guard Flex Patrol Driver

About the Role

The Security Professional Branch Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, finance, retail, and more. This role offers hands-on experience, diverse work environments, and the opportunity to build a strong foundation with a leader in the security industry. You can expect to work 30–40 hours per week, with a varying schedule based on manager-assigned shifts and self-scheduled shifts through our Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. Shifts, days, locations, and assignments will change regularly, making this an ideal opportunity for adaptable and dependable individuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
li>Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience
• Availability to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
• Availability for last-minute shift scheduling
• Ability to travel the required distance
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent

Skills

• Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic) is a plus
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus

Pay

Pay Rate: $22.08 / Hour
