The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site while allowing you to scale your schedule up to full‑time (up to 40 hours per week) or back as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and the perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, and promptly report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and adherence to site‑specific security‑related procedures.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license (required per Allied Universal driver policy).
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation (federal, state, and local laws).
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Compliance with any state/local licensing requirements prior to employment.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Schedule

Fixed‑shift commitment (“Anchor Shifts”) with a designated site and weekly shift requiring a six‑month base schedule. Through the Claim‑A‑Shift program you can pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. The base shift is Thursday from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with the flexibility to work part‑time one week and full‑time the next, scaling up to 40 hours per week or back as needed.
