As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Identity Validation in Atlanta, GA, this role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back when needed.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor access materials, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and/or communication systems; report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Support access control by monitoring entry to restricted areas, assisting with visitor sign-in procedures, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pepper spray certification.
• CPR certification.
• Access control and badge experience.

$24.16 / hour
