How This Role Works

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors, staff, and/or permitted items at designated entry points using established procedures and reporting guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited item discoveries, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
• Verify identification, visitor credentials, and/or access authorizations before permitting entry in accordance with location policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and/or nearby perimeter locations to help support security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, military, or possess a college degree in criminal justice.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Guard card is required.
