Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, badge verification, and employee and contractor entry in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology environment.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
