Security Guard DOD Secret Clearance

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, technology, and/or communications-related locations, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity, verifying credentials when required, and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
- Support day-to-day operations at the location by reporting hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns that could impact people, property, or business activities.
Requirements
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in a security or related field.
- Experience with firearms and defensive tactics preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Knowledge of security procedures and policies.
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic computer literacy.
