Security Guard - Corporate Monitoring & Patrol

About the role

As a Security Guard - Corporate Monitoring & Patrol, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, assist visitors and tenants with exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with the team.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions, access inquiries, and incident reporting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour
• Position Type: Part Time
• Job Schedule: DayTime, Wednesday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Thursday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
