About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity through accurate reports and promptly communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
