Security Guard - Concert Venue

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier cultural institution in Seattle, WA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests, staff, and performers. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, performers, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout performance venues, lobbies, backstage areas, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with crowd-flow procedures during performances, events, arrivals, and departures while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
