As a Dispatch Security Professional supporting a public transportation location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and dispatch resources to help maintain a secure environment. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service skills will support timely responses and positive interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to transit agency clients, employees, passengers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and coordinate dispatch communications, receive calls for service, document incidents, and relay timely information to field personnel and appropriate stakeholders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established communication and escalation protocols.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and other required records in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned facilities, transit locations, and perimeter areas as directed; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
