Security Guard - Banking Facility Part Time

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location in San Antonio, TX, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors while responding to security-related concerns with integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site policies, documenting incidents and communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional presence while assisting with access control, directions, and other customer service needs in a financial-services location.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
