Essential Job Functions

• Enforcing customers security and safety standards.

Major Duties And Responsibilities

• Enforcing vehicle identification regulations and allowing only authorized vehicles on site.
• Observing surrounding areas, reporting any suspicious or unusual activities.
• Operating any site traffic control devices assuring entry of only authorized vehicles.
• Issuing temporary passes to authorized visitors, guests, and deliveries.
• Monitoring of alarm systems, site access system, and security and safety radios.
• Maintaining daily log book.
• Preparing of visitor passes when notified in advance of visit dates.
• Greeting visitors, verifying appointments, and directing them to the proper buildings/operations.
• Answering site telephones when needed.
• Dispatching mobiles to problem areas.
• Signing in/out deliveries from contractors.
• Insuring contractor entry and egress rules are followed.
• Random inspection of contractor vehicles.
• May perform weightmaster duties.
• May perform mobile patrol duties as needed.

Physical Demands

• Strength rating - light.
• Spends most of the workday standing on feet or working at a desk.
• The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety, team safety, and environmental awareness at all times.
• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.
