Security Guard

About the role

Securitas Security Officers observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. They maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations, preserving order, and enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Security Officers also provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to ensure the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Actively monitor premises, including patrolling various locations.
• Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for client sites.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, which may include climbing stairs, walking on inclines, and uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• No prior experience necessary; training will be provided.
• Backgrounds in retail, food service, or hospitality are a great fit for this role.

Pay

$18.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time positions available. Weekly pay.
