Security Guard

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and attentive Security Guard to join our team at Willow Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our residents, staff, and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility, including doors, gates, and parking areas
• Patrol the premises, both indoors and outdoors, to prevent and detect any potential security breaches
• Conduct routine security checks, including but not limited to, performing rounds, checking doors and windows, and monitoring surveillance cameras
• Respond promptly and effectively to any security-related incidents or emergencies
• Maintain accurate records of all security-related incidents and activities
• Collaborate with other departments, including Nursing and Administrative staff, to ensure seamless care and support to our residents
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to resident-centered care, upholding our organization's mission and values

Requirements

• Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to remain calm and composed in emergency situations
