About the role
Maintains plant security and operational integrity.
Responsibilities
- Performs hourly rounds to check trailer and room temperatures, gate status.
- Monitors associates entering and exiting the building, including vehicle traffic.
- Weights trailers in and out using company scales.
- Answers switchboard calls after hours.
- Bills shipping loads.
- Follows and implements company policies.
- Operates company-owned vehicles.
- Inspects trailers for cleanliness and functionality.
- Receives shipments of supplies and raw materials.
- Performs assigned tasks without direct supervision.
- Communicates effectively under stress.
- Maintains attention to detail and professional attitude.
- Works flexible shifts.
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Strong computer skills.
- Preferred: Security experience.
- Prior high school diploma or GED.
Skills
- Physical ability to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather, and up/down stairs.
