Security Guard

MTC is proud to operate the Centennial Job Corps Center in Nampa, ID. Our staff provides quality services to local youth and values dedicated professionals who improve people's lives.

Responsibilities

• Perform guard and patrol duties in assigned areas to protect life and property.
• Ensure the physical security of buildings, center vehicles, and property by checking doors, windows, lights, electrical appliances, equipment, locks, and emergency equipment.
• Maintain logs, incident reports, and conduct investigations.
• Perform parking and traffic control.
• Assist in transporting students and reporting and suppressing fires.
• Assist senior security officer and manager in coordinating and instituting programs that foster student retention.
• Assure accountability of students, staff, and visitor check-out and check-in proceedings by scheduling coverage.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year security or completion of a security training program preferred.
• Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Pay

$19.25 per hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• Split shift position
• 3 day shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• 2 Swing shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
