SECURITY GUARD

About the role

Monitors plant activity through hourly rounds, checking trailer temperatures, room temperatures, and gates. Oversees all associates entering and exiting the building, including car traffic. Operates weight master scales to weigh trailers in and out. Answers the switchboard after hours and handles billing for loads.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement company policies
• Operate company-owned vehicles
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability
• Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak in English
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather, and up/down stairs
• Ability to perform assigned tasks without direct supervision
• Ability to communicate effectively under stress
• Attention to detail
• Professional attitude
• Minimum High School diploma or GED

Security experience is a plus.
