About the Role
GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Response Security Officer. This role requires adaptability, as duties vary depending on the day and special events. Whether it’s customer service, patrols, or surveillance, you’ll need to respond with agility and precision.
Site Location and Schedule
Location: Chesapeake, VA
Schedule: Full-time, Thursday/Friday 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, Saturday/Sunday 12:00 AM–8:00 AM
Pay
Competitive hourly wage of $19.25 (DailyPay available for GardaWorld employees)

Responsibilities
- Monitor premises to ensure security
- Conduct patrols to identify suspicious activity
- Control access points and verify identities
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
- Write detailed reports on events and incidents
- Collaborate with authorities during serious situations
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Active DCJS License required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass an extensive screening process
- Quick thinking and adaptability in changing situations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience preferred
- State license required (if applicable)
