Security Guard

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus and maintain security of buildings and grounds.
• Participate in the development and implementation of action plans to provide a safe environment and immediate response to threats of imminent violence, criminal incidents, emergency medical incidents, auto accidents, and others.
• Supervise and patrol school activities.
• Ensure that doors are locked and unlocked per the wishes of the principal.
• Regulate student behavior on campus in classrooms, cafeteria, gym, restroom, locker rooms, parking lots, and other areas.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated knowledge of security procedures.
• Job-related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
