Security Guard

To maintain the security and safety of the student body, faculty, and staff, the guard will patrol campus and maintain security of buildings and grounds. The successful candidate will perform duties customary of a school security guard, including participating in the development and implementation of action plans to provide a safe environment and immediate response to threats of imminent violence, criminal incidents, emergency medical incidents, auto accidents, and others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and patrol school activities across classrooms, cafeteria, gym, restrooms, locker rooms, parking lots, and other areas.
• Ensure doors are locked and unlocked according to the principal’s instructions.
• Regulate student behavior on campus.
• Respond immediately to threats of imminent violence, criminal incidents, emergency medical incidents, and auto accidents.
• Participate in developing and implementing action plans for campus safety.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated knowledge of security procedures.
• Relevant job‑related experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
