About the role
To maintain the security and safety of the student body, faculty, and staff by patrolling the campus and securing buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities
- Patrol campus and maintain security of buildings and grounds
- Develop and implement action plans to provide a safe environment
- Respond immediately to threats of imminent violence, criminal incidents, emergency medical incidents, auto accidents, and other emergencies
- Supervise and patrol school activities
- Ensure doors are locked and unlocked per the principal’s instructions
- Regulate student behavior in classrooms, cafeteria, gym, restrooms, locker rooms, parking lots, and other areas
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Demonstrated knowledge of security procedures
- Job-related experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
