Security Guard

About the role

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property. Your presence and proactive approach will help prevent incidents and ensure a secure atmosphere at all times.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Conduct security checks and inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents
• Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and observations
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and access control
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary

Requirements

• Proven experience as a security guard or in a related role preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus
• Valid security guard license or certification as required by local regulations

• Strong observational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods
• Knowledge of security procedures, safety protocols, and emergency response
