Security Guard

About the Role

As a Clinic Safety Liaison (Security Guard), you will monitor persons and vehicles entering or leaving the clinic property. You will provide support to ensure a safe environment, communicate concerns to your supervisor, take a lead role in light maintenance and environmental services, and perform routine safety inspections of clinic monitoring devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist, direct, and monitor all persons entering and leaving the clinic property, including emergency vehicles and personnel
• Interact with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times
• Monitor parking area (at minimum twice per hour) and lobby to ensure no loitering or misconduct takes place; report all concerns to director immediately
• Keep accurate notes reporting within various systems as outlined by clinic standards
• Communicate regarding incoming admissions, visits, and deliveries to appropriate staff
• Perform light maintenance duties and repairs, including touch-up painting, emptying and picking up trash, changing light bulbs, cleaning spills, and various repairs
• Perform regular safety checks, including smoke detectors, locked doors, alarm systems, etc.
• May perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Two years' experience in security, corrections, or military preferred
• Experience working in a healthcare or patient/customer-facing setting preferred
• Must be comfortable working in an opioid treatment program/recovery environment

Schedule

Full-time hours Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–1:00 PM, with rotating Sundays 7:00 AM–10:00 AM.

Pay

Hourly range of $18.05–$21.44 per hour.
