Security Guard

Responsibilities

• On-site for resident requests and emergencies on third shift (8pm to 8am)
• Promptly responds to calls to assess situations and contact appropriate individuals
• Handles light maintenance and janitorial emergencies
• Completely secures campus by checking doors, lights, and grounds on a nightly basis
• Makes regular rounds of buildings
• Completes reports of nightly rounds and occurrences during assigned shift
• Assists with projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related area with little direct supervision
• Experience in using tools and equipment required for this position
• Basic understanding of computers
• CPR/AED certified
• First Aid certified
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License
