About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Integrity in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, entry points, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders when appropriate.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).

Qualifications

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
