Security Guard

Job Summary

The Security Officer is responsible for monitoring the safety and security of the facility and property as well as employees and visitors. This position may be responsible for securing gate access; controlling access to the building; making rounds; directing visitors; providing assistance to the public; and responding to alarms.

Essential Job Functions

• Security guard tours
• Controlling and monitoring access control systems
• Generating incident reports and journal entries
• Directing contractors and visitors
• Interacting with members of the public
• Making rounds
• Monitoring CCTV
• Monitoring, answering, and generating emails in a timely manner
• Software monitoring
• Respond to emergencies as needed

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour.
Shift: 32-35 hours per week.
Coverage includes afternoon and evening shifts
