About the Role

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced (Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Enhanced) in Anadarko, OK. This position offers a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands‑on experience, or work toward a full‑time career. You will be hired for a designated site and weekly “anchor” shift with a six‑month commitment, and you may pick up additional shifts through the Claim‑A‑Shift program to increase earnings and experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at utility facilities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility buildings, substations, equipment areas, access points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site policies.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site‑specific post orders.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions) in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Compliance with state and/or local licensing requirements.

Pay

$20.86 per hour (weekly pay).

Schedule

Daytime shift on Saturdays: 05:00 AM – 05:00 PM. Fixed‑shift “anchor” schedule with the ability to work part‑time one week and full‑time the next, up to 40 hours per week.
