Security Guard Armed Part Time Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution in Camden, NJ, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to security-related concerns. This engaging role combines professional communication, customer service, and teamwork while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas; verify credentials as directed and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the business, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and document observations.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a New Jersey RPO Certificate.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$48.00 / Hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thursday: 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Friday: 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
