Security Guard Armed Multiple Shift

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This is a driving position that requires strong communication, professionalism, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and coordinating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, patient, and staff access procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, concerns, and relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• CPO is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military, 7 years of armed officer experience, and/or a degree.
• Valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$24.00 / Hour

• Thursday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Friday: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
