Security Guard Armed CPO Patrol Premises Protection

About the role

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a financial institution in Charlotte, NC, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally, respond to evolving situations, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, entrances, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, reporting suspicious activity and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

• CPO certification is required.
• Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
