About the Role

Admiral Security Services, established in 1976, is a leading security company in the United States, servicing hundreds of locations nationally. We are seeking a professional security officer to join our team, offering great pay, health insurance, life insurance, 401(k), and paid vacation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional security presence at the guard shack.
• Conduct scheduled and/or assigned interior patrols throughout the manufacturing plant.
• Monitor assigned areas during patrols and promptly report security, safety, or access concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Perform access control for guests, tenants, and vendors.
• Enforce client and company policies and procedures.
• Observe and report security and safety hazards.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around the building.
• Report all pertinent issues and incidents to the operations manager, client, and other Admiral/ADM Department Managers as appropriate.
• Interact with clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees, and the general public.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products.
• Must be able to operate and maintain site-specific security programs.
• Must have at least one year of verifiable work experience (military, concierge, or AA/BA in a related field may be considered).

Qualifications

• Ability to work inside and outside in varying temperatures.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, bend, and lift.
• Ability to sit in front of a computer for prolonged periods.
