Security Guard - 2nd Shift

Duties

• Maintains security of premises by monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure.
• Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Calls police or fire departments in case of emergency.
• Answers alarms and investigates disturbances.
• Circulates among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.
• Patrols premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
• Ensures security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Answers telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information.
• Warns persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehends or evicts violators from premises.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
