Security Guard - 11pm-7am (Full-Time)

About the role

Monitor all persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving facility property at Belmont Behavioral Health System, a premiere provider of comprehensive treatment for mental health conditions and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Assist, direct, and monitor all persons entering and leaving the facility property.
• Keep accurate log books as required.
• Direct emergency personnel arriving on facility property and maintain flow of traffic during emergencies, such as fire drills.
• Communicate incoming admissions, visits, and deliveries to appropriate staff.
• Monitor parking area to ensure no loitering or misconduct occurs; monitor lobby area and perform frequent sweeps of the entire facility.
• Interact with staff and patients in a professional manner at all times.
• Report any suspicious behavior to the CEO, supervisor, or a member of leadership.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years’ experience in security, corrections, or military.
• Valid state driver's license.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
• First aid certification may be required based on state or facility.
