Security GRC Analyst

For our client, we are seeking a Security GRC Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will help strengthen the organization’s security governance, risk, and compliance program across a dynamic, fast-moving technology environment. The analyst will partner with cross-functional teams to assess risk, maintain core controls, and support audit readiness while helping translate security requirements into clear, actionable guidance. This position is also responsible for keeping leadership informed on GRC posture and driving consistency in policies, assessments, and training. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $123,696 – $254,667 annually Responsibilities Administer and maintain the security risk register, including tracking and reporting on risks Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to document and assess security risks Draft and manage the lifecycle of security policies and standards Support the annual SOC 2 Type 2 audit through planning and evidence collection Track and report on security awareness training metrics and follow-up actions Execute security control testing aligned to recognized framework controls Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on GRC status Qualifications 4+ years of experience in security governance, risk, compliance, audit, or assurance roles Working knowledge of SOC 2, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF Experience supporting audits and control testing in tech or SaaS environments Strong ability to write clear security policies and documentation Experience maintaining risk registers and risk assessments Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams effectively Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders Benefits Equitable, inclusive, and inspiring workplace culture Flexible work model with occasional in-office collaboration Work remotely while staying connected to the team Access to equity as part of the compensation package Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
