Security Flex Officer - Transportation Station

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or public agency representatives as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic public areas, assist with crowd and queue observation, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations by providing directions and general assistance to the public, communicating clearly with team members and local authorities, and completing assigned activity logs and incident reports.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
