Security Flex Officer - Luxury Retail

About the role

As a Security Flex Officer at a shopping mall, you will serve and safeguard clients in a residential community such as a gated community, condominium, or apartment complex. You will provide access control and patrols while remaining visible and displaying exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by conducting safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, if appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.

Requirements

• Valid Florida Security D License (no exceptions).
• Security experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills, professional attitude, and strong work ethic.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions for the entire shift.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Pay

$17.50 per hour

Schedule

Morning Shift: Thursday through Monday (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
