As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Post in Dallas, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Day shift: 05:00 AM - 02:00 PM on Saturdays

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials where required, and support visitor and delivery processing in accordance with site policies and post instructions.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel, supervisors, and/or first responders during routine operations and unusual events, while completing required reports and logs in a timely manner.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
