Security Flex Officer Appointment Coordinator

About the Role

This part-time enhanced security officer position provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when it works for you. The role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, always with the option to scale back when needed.

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk of a financial institution by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional front-desk environment by answering phones, providing directions, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $19.38 / Hour
• Schedule: Daytime, Saturday 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
