Security Flex Officer - Active DoD Clearance Needed

About the role

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, offers a Security Flex Officer position requiring an active DoD clearance and active CA guard card at the Rancho Bernardo location. As a Security Guard, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government, and more, working in dynamic environments where conditions may vary by client site.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Requirements

• Active DoD clearance
• Active CA guard card
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Successful background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
• Drug screen as permitted by law
• Meet any state/local licensing requirements prior to employment
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions
