Security Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Aid in designing, enhancing, testing, and implementing security technologies.
• Provide technical support for information security technologies, analyzing problems and resolving them promptly.
• Investigate and swiftly address security incidents, recommending corrective measures.
• Implement, configure, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) infrastructure, including Active Directory, EntraID, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
• Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability assessments and devise mitigation strategies.
• Perform threat modeling on critical products and services, identifying threats and establishing controls to prevent, detect, and respond to risks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate and automate security practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Offer security recommendations and solutions for both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Engage in special projects as needed, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in cybersecurity, information security, or information technology.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with JIRA for project management.
• Hands-on experience with IAM solutions such as Active Directory, EntraID, Okta, and Microsoft Defender.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of cloud service platforms like AWS, Azure, etc.
• Basic scripting and programming skills (PowerShell, bash, Python, IaC).
• Experience with SIEM, CSPM, and EDR tools.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Pay

The Base Salary range for this position is between $85,000-$100,000. Additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits are also available.
