Security Engineer (II) [211765]
Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor and manage the intake and tracking system for all security reviews tied to upcoming product launches.
- Track identified security risks and findings from end-to-end, ensuring engineering teams take ownership, assign appropriate risk levels, and adhere to resolution timelines.
- Cook up and coordinate effectively between Security Engineers, hardware/software engineering teams, and New Product Introduction (NPI) Product Operations to keep go-to-market dates on schedule.
- Identify and escalate bottlenecked reviews or overdue security fixes to relevant leads to prevent potential launch delays.
- Maintain clear operational dashboards and provide regular status updates on pipeline status, outstanding risks, and launch-readiness gates to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, security operations, technical program support, or product release coordination.
- Basic understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) workflows or technical product release cycles.
- General familiarity with cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, or tracking technical findings (you do not need to be a hands-on security engineer, but you must understand risk terminology).
- Proficiency with workflow tracking and project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, SmartSheet).
- Strong organizational skills and excellent written/verbal communication abilities to follow up with engineers, ensure accountability, and translate technical status into clear updates.
