Responsibilities
- Own engineering execution across SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, EDR, SASE, and data security platforms
- Design and implement detections aligned to MITRE ATT&CK and evolving threat landscapes
- Build integrations, logging pipelines, and enrichment workflows across cloud and SaaS environments
- Develop SOAR playbooks and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Enhance AWS security posture across multi-account environments (Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, Macie, CloudTrail, IAM)
- Expand observability, telemetry, and detection capabilities
- Integrate AI into security workflows to accelerate analysis and reduce manual effort
- Partner with cloud, identity, and application security teams to build scalable controls
Qualifications
- 5+ years in security engineering, detection engineering, or advanced SecOps
- Strong experience with SIEM (Splunk preferred) and detection logic
- Deep AWS security engineering expertise
- Experience with SOAR and automation scripting
- Familiarity with SASE (SWG, CASB, ZTNA) and/or DSPM platforms
- Strong understanding of adversary TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK
- Curiosity for emerging tools—especially AI-assisted development—and a drive to stay ahead of the curve
- Ability to operate independently and deliver high-impact engineering work
Nice to Have
- CSPM or DSPM engineering experience
- SASE platform implementation
- Security certifications (GIAC, AWS, CISSP, etc.)
- Experience with tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar
Pay
$120,000 to $135,00 annually
