About the Opportunity

The Security Engineer role focuses on supporting sales efforts by demonstrating comprehensive cybersecurity solutions that protect organizations' operations and information. This position is responsible for engaging with prospects and customers to identify security challenges and provide tailored solutions, contributing to the organization's goal of helping clients operate securely in a dynamic digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential clients
• Demonstrate the full portfolio of cybersecurity solutions
• Educate customers, prospects, and partners on technical, operational, and business challenges and how solutions address them
• Lead meetings to diagnose client problems and propose appropriate security solutions
• Address technical inquiries and guide best practices
• Manage Proof-of-Concept initiatives
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Engage and educate key partners and customers on current security technologies
• Participate actively in cybersecurity events

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of engineering and pre-sales experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of typical customer network environments
• Ability to design end-to-end security solutions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE)

Pay

• Estimated base salary range: $134,400 to $180,000
• Additional compensation may include annual bonuses or sales incentives based on individual performance
