Security Engineer

About the role

Support enterprise-level IT infrastructure and services for mission-critical government environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support Microsoft enterprise technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Certificate Authority/PKI.
• Manage enterprise backup and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, ensuring data resiliency and compliance with government standards.
• Design and maintain Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).
• Implement and maintain Data-At-Rest (DAR) encryption solutions and ensure systems align with government cybersecurity compliance.
• Deliver secure, high-performance capabilities including VoIP, VDI, mobile computing, and video teleconferencing.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience with enterprise systems engineering in a government or secure environment.
• Experience with Microsoft enterprise technologies, virtualization platforms, or cloud services.
• Experience with SAN, HCI, and backup or DR architectures.
• Experience supporting deployable or tactical IT environments.
• Experience with government cybersecurity compliance, including RMF or STIGs.
• Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.11 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of start date.

Pay

Competitive annual salary of $86,900 - $198,000.
