Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and protect advanced technology platforms.
- Address security challenges in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and identity and access technologies.
- Collaborate with software engineers, infrastructure teams, and technical leadership to implement security best practices.
- Engage in threat modeling, secure system design, and modern security engineering practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Product Security, Application Security, Platform Security, Cloud Security, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of security architecture, threat modeling, secure system design, and modern security engineering practices.
- Experience securing cloud environments within AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, Rust, Java, C++, or similar.
- Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, APIs, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management, authentication, authorization, network security, and cryptographic principles.
- Ability to partner effectively with software engineers, infrastructure teams, and technical leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with advanced cryptographic technologies, including post-quantum or quantum-resistant cryptography.
- Background in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Experience securing AI/ML systems, data-intensive platforms, or high-performance computing environments.
- Familiarity with confidential computing, trusted execution environments, secure hardware, or advanced encryption technologies.
- Experience building security automation, internal security platforms, or developer-focused security solutions.
- Contributions to open-source projects, security research, technical publications, or industry thought leadership.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
