About the role

The Forward Engineering Team at Candid is seeking an experienced engineer to join our mission. This role will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and requirements
• Develop and implement technical solutions to address customer pain points
• Collaborate with product management and design teams to ensure solutions align with business goals
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience
• Experience working with healthcare systems and payment processing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL

Qualifications

• Passionate about using technology to improve healthcare outcomes
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Skills

• Experience with healthcare-specific APIs and data models
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
• Experience with cloud-based platforms and services
